THE NEW NORMAL
It’s March 2020, and COVID-19 is rapidly spreading across the world. Life began to look very different. We shifted to online working and learning. Zoom became our new way to connect with others. With little notice, our dependence on connectivity skyrocketed.
RESPONDING TO A CRISIS
Like many companies, QuadGen needed to adjust day-to-day operations to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. QuadGen’s Integration Center, a team of dedicated engineers who support our customers, transitioned to a work-from-home environment without missing a beat. Our teams were properly equipped and supported throughout this transition which maintained our high quality of service for our customers and partners.
The Department of Homeland Security issued letters to carriers granting exemptions on some COVID-19 restrictions since connectivity is essential. Due to the increase of work from home network demand, QuadGen needed to respond. Our Field Service Teams upgraded and facilitated these network expansions. This allowed greater network capacity, facilitating more capable internet connections for those working and learning from home.
QuadGen also worked with carriers to enable connectivity in makeshift COVID-19 hospitals. Recognizing the humanity behind these requests, we completed this project with time to spare to ensure the hospital was ready as soon as possible.
CONNECTIVITY
Although the pandemic is not behind us, we maintain our intention to keeping people connected. Supporting our customers and partners through innovative network solutions is what we do best. As we look toward a post-pandemic world, we continue to focus on network enhancements to keep pace with the growing need for connectivity.
