One of the Greatest Minds in Wireless

November 25, 2020

I have personally had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Dr. Arogyaswami Paulraj these past four years at QuadGen. He is a Stanford Engineering Professor Emeritus, a Marconi Prize winner, member of the US Patent Trademark Office Hall of Fame, and author of more than 70 patents – predominantly in wireless technology. Moreover Dr. Paulraj invented MIMO. If you’re not an engineer this is the basis of LTE as well as 5G. In fact he has recently been a key advisor to many of the nation’s and the world’s top wireless operators as they were preparing to launch 5G commercially.

While he is obviously very smart and incredibly accomplished, he is also an absolute gentlemen. At QuadGen we have been very thankful to have Dr. Paulraj as an advisor and friend to our business. Our gift so to speak is that we will be sponsoring a complimentary Webinar for our customers and partners given by Dr. Paulraj. The topic will be on 5G including MIMO, antenna arrays, and beam forming – including a discussion of the differences across sub 6 GHz vs. millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum.

The details are below… And I do hope that you and your families have a Happy Thanksgiving!

A Year in a Global Pandemic
Industry Prospective

It’s March 2020, and COVID-19 is rapidly spreading across the world. Life began to look very different. We shifted to online working and learning. Zoom became our new way to connect with others. With little notice, our dependence on connectivity skyrocketed.
Like many companies, QuadGen needed to adjust day-to-day operations to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. QuadGen’s Integration Center, a team of dedicated engineers who support our customers, transitioned to a work-from-home environment without missing a beat.
